The public service platform of Shenzhen Guangming New District is located at the junction of Guangming High-tech Park and the gateway area of Guangming High-speed Railway Station. The overall image is like an ark riding the wind and waves, floating on the hilly terrain. The building is divided into two upper and lower sections of different forms, corresponding to internal office and external administrative services. The office space is located on the upper part, with a square and practical rectangular volume; the bottom part is the external public service hall and conference hall. The roof of this part is a wavy free-form surface, and a large area of floor-to-ceiling transparent glass creates a relaxed and open space atmosphere. 

The two separate building volumes are glued together through a section of curved perforated aluminum curtain wall. The "broken" part leaves a 50-meter-wide huge opening, which allows you to see the Niu Mountain behind. The wind can blow through the perforated aluminum curtain wall from the hidden tunnels into the three upper office atriums, forming a breathable cross-sectional structure. The overall spatial form weakens the usual sense of ritual in government buildings, hoping to make citizens feel the different service images and attitudes of Guangming District.
