Kukeng Middle School is located in Longhua District, Shenzhen. The surrounding area is dominated by high-density urban village industrial areas, and the urban public space is extremely scarce. The two sides of the base are high in the middle bottom, and the plan makes use of the existing height difference design to reduce the amount of earthwork. Sports fields and sports facilities are arranged on the north and south sides of the base. The public axis connects the sports facilities on the north and south sides to form the main axis of the project space, and the entire base is connected through the public axis in the middle. The runway is extended to linearly link the entire public activity area. The runway is connected in series with public activity areas of different nature. The public space system of the teaching building area forms a streamlined closed loop, and the public closed loop connects different functional groups in series. Enlarge the corridor space and increase the communication space. The teaching area space is implanted with an aerial platform to provide a public space for students to communicate and study, while improving the lighting and natural ventilation effects of the building. Inserting light wells and partially canceling some classrooms on both sides as public activity platforms not only solves the problem of ventilation and lighting, but also greatly enriches the sense of hierarchy in the public space and provides more places for students to communicate between classes. The design is student-oriented, and the school is designed with the concept of service education. Create an open, individualized, diversified, multi-level space to blend in, and strive to create a compound teaching space in the space.
